Is there a way to embed an instant messaging service, such as MSN Messenger, on a wireless device, like a PDA? In addition, could you embed that same service on a web page? The idea would be to know when a client is being accessed for a specific reason. In other words, can you be informed that a person is logged on something specific?
Basically, yes. You would have to check product offerings such as ICQ or AOL instant messenger. ICQ, for example, can be configured to send an SMS or a pager message to your mobile phone when one of your buddies logs in.
