How can I view XML output in a browser?

I am learning XML presently. How can I see the output of XML documents in a browser -- what software do I need for that and what is the procedure?

Modern browsers (IE 6, Mozillla) do a good job of displaying "raw" XML in the classical tree view used to represent hierarchies. There are numerous freely available tree-view editors for XML available if you would prefer a "thick client" application. I'd suggest follow the links on www.xml.com for editing tools.

Normally XML is transformed into some other format to generate human-oriented output. This can be most easily achieved through stylesheet technologies such as CSS2 and XSLT.
