Q

Can I access a Java Web service from the VB 6.0 client using SOAP?

I am learning the Web services technology. Can I access a Java Web service from the VB 6.0 client using SOAP? If yes, could you please direct me so that I can learn how to access a SOAP message in a VB 6.0 client?
Yes. You can access a Java Web service from a VB 6.0 client using SOAP. I recommend that you use a VB/COM client SOAP implementation, such as the Microsoft SOAP Toolkit or PocketSOAP (check out the PocketSOAP WSDL Wizard). The tools automatically translate the SOAP messages into VB objects for you. Have fun!
