There is no contradiction or incompatibility between MMS and GPS at all. However, the mobile phone needs to provide a GPS module, and the mobile phone OS needs to offer some API for querying GPS location information. Then you can create an application that accesses the local GPS module, and sends that information via MMS. The Symbian operating system provides the necessary C++ APIs for that.
