Oracle extends 11g line with GoldenGate, Data Integrator updates

Data Integrator Enterprise Edition 11 g improves support from development through management by providing integration with Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle Enterprise Manager as well as including a design environment that incorporates GoldenGate 11g's log management capabilities for real-time data warehousing solutions. Oracle GoldenGate 11g and Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition 11g now include native delivery to Oracle TimesTen databases.

For systems outside of the Oracle family, the new 11 g products offer enhanced interoperability features like log-based capture to and from IBM DB2, as well as from JMS-based messaging systems and to IBM DB2 for iSeries. High performance ELT capabilities that enable faster loading and data warehousing are reported. Plus, GoldenGate is said to offer streamlined recovery for long-running transactions that experience interruption as well as improved transaction tracing intended to make it easier to identify and mitigate bottlenecks.
